The RICE (RexxLA Internet Collaboration Effort) is almost complete. This project brings all of the RexxLA Internet resources together into an environment under which
RexxLA has more control, and to be able to provide more services to our members.
A
project plan (PDF) outlines the activities and progress of this effort. Comments via the members mailing list are welcome.
The Rexx Language Association proudly sponsors the Open Object Rexx Project. ooRexx is an open source object oriented Rexx interpreter based on the old IBM Object Rexx product. The ooRexx Web Site has all the information on the project.
As a result of the efforts of some members of RexxLA at the 2007 Symposium, a Product Brochure for ooRexx has been produced.
The NetRexx project is still in the process of being established. Please check back later for more information.
IBM announced in April their intention of open sourcing the NetRexx product. RexxLA and IBM are currently in negotiations for turning over the source code and project materials to RexxLA. RexxLA will establish a project for NetRexx as soon as feasible.
The current web site for NetRexx is hosted at IBM.
