Cookies

Like most websites, the RexxLA website uses small text files called cookies. This page gives an overview of what cookies are, and which cookies RexxLA uses, and how they can be controlled.

Cookies are used to distinguish you from other users of our website. A cookie is a small file which is stored by your web browser. Cookies provide core functionality (such as the ability to authenticate and log you in to an account), they also help store data on state for the session.

RexxLA stores one cookie; ___RexxLA___ to store a unique identifier. This is used internally within the web server to maintain details about the current session. Those details are:

  • Member Id (once logged in) - a unique id per member
  • Member TimeZone (once logged in) - the member's timezone, used to display Symposium schedules in your local time
Once the session ends, the cookie is removed.

You can block cookies by activating the setting on your browser that allows you to refuse the setting of all or some cookies. However, if you use your browser settings to block all cookies (including ___RexxLA___), you may not be able to access all or parts of our site. We recommend you visit https://knowcookies.com for detailed guidance.
