The 2009 International Rexx Symposium celebrates Rexx's 30th birthday by returning to it's birthplace. It will be held at Chilworth Manor with a day at the IBM facility at Hursley. Both locations are near the beautiful, historic county town of Winchester. The program agenda represents the best of all the quality presentations offered by the best Rexx practitioners in the world. As usual, the Sunday before the Symposium will feature free tutorials and a welcome reception.
As well as being Rexx's 30th birthday, 2009 is scheduled to see the release of a major new version of Open Object Rexx and the Open Sourcing of IBM's NetRexx interpreter.
The Symposium is the only technical conference dedicated to the Rexx family of programming languages, drawing speakers and attendees from around the world It is the best place to learn valuable Rexx programming techniques, keep up with the latest developments in the Rexx community, and confer with your colleagues, many of whom are luminaries in the field. The Program will feature a wide variety of presentations ranging from tutorial introduction to real-world practical applications, to research papers describing techniques and features you will be using in the future.
